Reiki by Jana

As I look back on my journey with finding Reiki, there are so many divine instances that came before me to make this happen.  I came to Utica, NY 3 years ago to be near family.  I didn’t know Reiki existed at that point.  My first divine calling came when I accepted a job in Vermont.  I have worked in the dental field for over 40 years, and it was a job I was excited to explore.  While working there I had a reading done by a Physic at the county fair.  I think this was the awakening that sent me on a pathway to heal. 

She informed me that I hold people’s energy, and I need to learn how to let that go.  From there, it steamrolled into a Sound Bath session and a Reiki introduction class.  I quickly realized that I have been searching for this healing my whole life.  I signed up for a Reiki II Class which allows you to be a Reiki Practitioner on other people.  I practiced on friends and family for a while as I grew in my own practice and my own healing. 

I’ve learned so much about myself and living my authentic life.  I have grown to unapologetically be me.  The awakening, that I was meant to do this, came very quickly and easily to me. Today I am a proud Light Worker and believe in the healing journey Reiki offers.
